Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups plain flour ( must be self-rising does not work.)
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 7oz. 7 up

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar.
  2. Add 1 egg at a time.
  3. Add Flour and 7 Up alternately one at a time.
  4. Then add flovoring.
  5. Grease bottom and not sides of tube pan.
  6. Bake 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
