Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp evaporated milk

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine egg and milk; stir into flour mixture with a fork until all ingredients are moistened. Cover, and chill 24 hours.
