Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil; grease foil.
  2. Mix sugar and milk in a heavy 3-quart saucepan.
  3. Over medium heat, add butter; stir constantly bringing to a boil.
  4. Boil constantly for 5 minutes without stirring.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add chocolate and almond extract.
  6. Whisk until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.
  7. Stir in dried fruit and toasted almonds.
  8. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  9. Refrigerate 2 hours until firm.
  10. Invert pan, peel off foil and cut into 1-inch squares.
