Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups cereal , wheaties wheat flake

Directions:

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Stir in egg and milk.
  3. Add melted shortening.
  4. Fold in Wheaties.
  5. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a moderately hot oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
