Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oleo, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup currants

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients together, making a thin batter.
  2. Pour like pancakes on a hot, greased griddle.
  3. Add a few currants in the middle of batter while frying.
  4. Brown on both sides. Put on plate and spread with butter and sugar.
  5. Stack like pancakes, then use a sharp knife and cut into quarters.
