Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 then butter twelve muffin tins.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together flours, baking powder, salt and thyme.
  3. Stir in walnuts and cheddar until combined well.
  4. In a bowl whisk together remaining ingredients and add to flour mixture.
  5. Stir just until combined then divide batter among muffin tins and bake 15 minutes.
  6. Cool muffins in tins on a rack 10 minutes and turn out onto rack to cool completely.
