Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar and corn syrup in a microwave-safe dish.
  2. Microwave mixture for three (3) minutes.
  3. Stir again and place in the microwave for an additional four (4) minutes.
  4. Stir in walnuts, salt, vanilla and butter.
  5. Mix with Electric Mixer until mixture is well blended and Fluffy.
  6. Grease a cookie sheet with butter.
  7. Spread mixture on cookie sheet in any desired thickness.
  8. After candy cools SLIGHTLY stretch the brittle to your desired thickness.
  9. Cool at least one hour.
  10. When cooled break into pieces and store in covered (tight) container.
