Very Easy Golden Apples Brown Sugar Butter Wrapped...

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees
  2. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Peel apples
  4. Core the apples, going almost to bottom, not all the way through
  5. In small bowl, combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins
  6. Fill center of each apple with mixture
  7. Top each apple with butter
  8. Roll out puff pastry on lightly floured surface
  9. Cut into 6-inch squares, (large enough to enclose apple)
  10. Arrange apple in center of square
  11. Brush edges of pastry with water
  12. Fold pastry up around each apple, enclosing, sealing edge
  13. Pinch pastry together at very top, seal, leaving a bit sticking up
  14. Brush pastry with egg wash
  15. Arrange enclosed apples on cooking sheet
  16. Bake 40-45 minutes or until pastry is golden brown
  17. When serving, place baked apples in individaul bowl, placing each apple on a BED of whipped cream, sprinkle with more brown sugar
