Ingredients:

  • 2-3 medium turnips
  • 6 tsp butter
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. Peel and cut turnips into small pieces
  2. Boil until tender
  3. Mash until smooth
  4. Mix in all ingredients (use ony 1/2 bread crumbs)
  5. Pour into greased 2 qt dish
  6. Mix reaining bread crumbs and melted butter sprinkle over top
  7. Let cool, cover & refridgerate
  8. Bake at 350 for 30-45 min or until heated through and top is golden
