Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. sugar
  • 8 tsp. corn syrup
  • 5 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 8 cup. pecan halves
  • additional salt to sprinkle

Directions:

  1. In large bowl, mix sugar, butter, cornsyrup, cinnamon, salt and nutmet. Add nuts, toss to coat. Transfer to your largest baking sheet with sides.
  2. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours stirring ever 15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with additional salt to taste. Cool. Store in airtight container.
