Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine apples,sugar,tapioca,lemon juice,apple pie spice,and salt.
  2. Place in 8x8x2 inch foil pan.
  3. With a pastry blender,or,two forks,cut in the butter with the oats,brown sugar,and flour,until it looks coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  5. Cover tightly with foil.
  6. Place pan on center of rack in grill.
  7. Close top on grill,and grill for 15 minutes.
  8. Uncover pan close top on grill,and grill for 30 minutes.
  9. Until nice and bubbly.
  10. Remove from grill but keep warm.
  11. ~For your Porter Sauce~
  12. In pan,combine all ingredients for sauce.
  13. Bring to boil,reduce to simmer,and cook for about 12 minutes,or,until your sauce is to your liking in consistency.
  14. ~To Serve~Pour hot porter sauce over grilled apple crisp,scoop up a nice vanilla Ice cream and place it along side of the dessert...pouring just a thimble full of Porter Beer over...and then...give it a pinch of apple pie spice~
