Tamarind Juice (For Cooking)

Ingredients:

  • 100 g tamarind pulp
  • 300 ml warm water

Directions:

  1. Soak Tamarind in warm water for 1/2 hour - 1 hour to soften.
  2. Strain through seive and press down with a spoon to extract all the juice.
  3. Discard dregs and use the juice as required in recipe.
  4. Keeps in the fridge for up to a week.
