Tamarind Butter Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Clean the shrimps and peel only the body shells leaving the head and tail attached
  3. Skewers the shrimps (3-4 shrimps per skewer) and put aside
  4. In a sauce pan, put tamarind concentrate, water, butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic and black pepper and let it cook down for about 5 min. or thickens slightly. turn off heat and put aside
  5. Put the skewer shrimps on a rack and baste/brush the shrimps with the tamarind sauce on both side
  6. Grill in oven for about 5 min. on each side.
  7. Continue to baste the shrimps while flipping them on each side until shrimps are cooked
  8. Do not over cook the shrimps!
