Sweet Potato Pecan Bread

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Grease bottom of a loaf pan. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and spices in mixing bowl. With a large spoon, stir in sugar, eggs, applesauce and milk; stir to moisten all ingredients. Stir in mashed sweet potatoes, pecans and dates or raisins.
  2. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a rack for 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan and continue cooling on a wire rack.
