Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
  3. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butterscotch pieces, sugar and butter, stirring constantly until all is melted.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Cool butterscotch mixture slightly.
  6. Add egg and beat well.
  7. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, mix well.
  8. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  9. Spread mixture evenly in 8 inch square pan.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  12. When cool, cut into bars.
