Super Fudgy Three Way Topped Brownies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Place butter and sugar in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until mixture starts to boil.
  4. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Add 1 cup chocolate chips, stir until melted.
  6. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  7. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  8. Stir in the rest of the chocolate chips.
  9. Pour batter into an ungreased 8 square baking pan.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, not batter.
  11. Top according to any of the directions below:.
  12. Peanut butter Cup Brownies: Coarsely chop the peanut butter cups. Sprinkle evenly over hot brownies. Press into tops and allow to cool before serving.
  13. S'more Brownies: Allow brownies to cool completely. Just before serving, cut into 16 squares. Top each square with 1 tablespoon marshmallow topping and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
  14. Candy Caramel Brownies: Cut caramels into fourths. Sprinkle evenly over hot brownies. Lightly press into brownies. Cool completely before cutting.
