Sugar and Cinnamon Spice Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in milk, egg, and butter, beating only enough to blend. Stir in raisins and nuts, of desired.
  2. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes or until muffins test done.
