Ingredients:

  • 4-5 large fresh basil leaves cut in chiffonade
  • mayonnaise to bind ( usually a cup or less ) as desired
  • few splashes of champagne vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar ( or splenda ) or to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Mix cabbage with onion and basil
  2. Mix in mayo to desired consistency
  3. Add champagne vinegar to taste
  4. Add sugar to taste
  5. Mix well and salt and pepper to taste
  6. Note: sprinkle if desired with more chopped basil and red onion as a garnish
