Sourdough Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

  • 2 package dry yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1tsp crushed italian seasoning
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water
  2. Stir in sugar, salt, oil, seasoning and flour
  3. Turn onto floured surface knead in enough flour to prevent sticking
  4. Place in a oiled bowl and let rise in a worm place for at least 10 minutes. I go about an hour normally, depends on how much time you have. Sometimes I will punch it down and let it rise again. It depends on how big of a hurry I am in.
  5. I have done this in both a bread maker and a bowl and it works both ways. It will make enough dough for two nice pies.
