Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup lime juice

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature.
  2. Transfer to a container with a tight-fitting lid. Add lemon and lime juices. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Yield: 3-2/3 cups.
