Ingredients:

  • 4 oz butter
  • 6 oz sugar
  • 1 tsp syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 oz currants

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to gas 4 180c.
  2. Mix butter and sugar until white, then add syrup, milk, eggs and flour and mix untill smooth. add currents and mix well .place into a 12 inch baking tray and bake for 1 hour.
  3. Leave on a wire rack to cool for ten mins before eating.
