Ingredients:

  • 125 g butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease and flour a 8 inch pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  5. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
