Simple Toffee Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 oz slivered almonds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Line cookie sheet with foil, shiny side up. Place enough graham crackers to cover entire cookie sheet.
  2. In a medium pot, combine butter and sugar. Stirring often until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add almond and sesame seeds to sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
  5. Pour mixture over crackers and spread mixture out evenly to cover all the crackers.
  6. Bake 8 minutes and cut immediately and remove from foil.
  7. Cool and refrigerate or freeze.
