Simple Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb tri-colour pasta spirals
  • 1 medium red onion julienned
  • 1 cup slice black olives
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • optional: other veg or beans when handy

Directions:

  1. Prepare pasta per instructions on package, drain and cool under cold water, drain, set aside
  2. In bowl combine vinegar, water, salt, pepper, dressing blend, herbs.
  3. Into bowl add all veg and toss to coat.
  4. Combine pasta and vinegar/veg mix and toss.
  5. Add oil at end and toss to mix thoroughly.
  6. Great for making ahead, flavours improve and vinegar mellows.
  7. Keep refrigerated
