Silver Palate Salmon Mousse

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soften gelatin in cold water in large bowl.
  2. Stir in boiling water.
  3. Whisk mix until gelatin dissolves.
  4. Cool.
  5. Whisk mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion, Tabasco sauce, paprika, salt and dill.
  6. Stir to blend.
  7. Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken slightly, about 20 minutes.
  8. Fold in salmon.
  9. In separate bowl whip cream to thicken then fold into salmon.
  10. Transfer mixture to 6 to 8 cup bowl or mold.
  11. Cover and chill 4 hours.
  12. Serve on toasts, black bread or crackers.
  13. Serves 12 portions.
