Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 3-4 tbsp white wine

Directions:

  1. Combine butter and onion until soft and yellow, then add flour, milk, half-and-half, salt, curry and chicken stock. Cook all until thick, then add wine and shrimp. We normally serve this over white rice (just figure out how much per person) and then pass bowls with garnishes in them (we use peanuts, toasted coconut, green onion, bacon bits and chutney) the garnishes are endless, if you cant find major greys mango chutney in your store I have found that the smuckers mango jelly works pretty well too! (my daughter prefers it)
