Scalloped Apples, Pork Chops, and Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Divide apple slices into two equal batches.
  2. Put apples on each end of a shallow baking dish.
  3. Cut sweet potatoes into thick slices and put in the center of the dish.
  4. Sprinkle with raisins, then with brown sugar and nutmeg.
  5. Mix jelly and mustard, beating until smooth.
  6. Trim excess fat from chops.
  7. Place chops over sweet potatoes and apples.
  8. Top with jelly-mustard mix.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  10. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender.
