Sauted Onions On The Grill

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/8 tsp garlic power
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • about 12 x12 aluminum foil sheet

Directions:

  1. -slice onion into 1/4 inch thick slices (do not seperate rings
  2. -pile slices on center of foil sheet
  3. (Add garlic at this point is using minced garlic)
  4. -add butter to top of pile
  5. -add salt, pepper, (and garlic if using garlic powder)
  6. -Close foil up into a pouch with fold on top for easy pick up with tongs.
  7. -Cook of 40 minute on grill being careful not to move pouch too much (don t want to let the pouch rupture prematurely)
  8. -after cooking, open pouch and pour into bowl for serving.
