Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) package powdered sugar , sifted (about 4 3/4 cups)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine egg whites, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream of tarter.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for 7 to 10 minutes or till very stiff.
  3. Use at once, covering icing in bowl at all times with wet paper towel to prevent from drying.
