Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw rice
  • water per pacakage directions
  • 1 tsp saffron
  • 10 to 12 whole cloves
  • salt as needed
  • minted peas ( optional ) cooked peas with a pinch of sugar and 1 tbsp butter and sveral chopped fresh mint leaves )

Directions:

  1. Add saffron and cloves to water to cook rice per pkg directions
  2. If desired add the cooked and drained minted peas
  3. Peas also may be served separately
