Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter or 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1/3 cup thin spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (can use water)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Break spaghetti into 1/2-3/4-inch pieces. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter over a medium low heat in a medium size sauce pan.
  3. Brown spaghetti pieces and rice for about 4-5 minutes. Don't over brown!
  4. Add liquid, salt and pepper and bring to a full boil.
  5. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer until rice is done (15-18 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
