Rice Krispies Cookies (Deyo)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oleo ( butter)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut or 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Cream together oleo, egg, sugars, and vanilla.
  2. Add baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal and flour.
  3. Add Rice Krispies and coconut; mix well.
  4. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
