Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 /2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Put cooked rice to soak with 1 cup of milk
  2. In the morning add the salt, sugar, shortening , flour, baking powder and cinnamon, beat the mixture well
  3. Add the beaten egg and the other cup of milk
  4. Cook on a hot greased griddle
  5. Serve with butter and maple syrup
