Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oil 2 inches deep in a medium saucepan to 350 degrees f.( oil is ready when a drop of water added sizzles )
  2. Cut chocolate bar into scored rectangles, then cut each in half
  3. In a small bowl, lightly beat egg with water to make a egg wash
  4. Lay out wonton wrappers on a falt surface
  5. Use a pastry brush to brush egg wash around perimeter of each wontonwrapper
  6. Place approx 1 teaspoon of raspberry preserves in the center of each prepared wonton wrapper
  7. Top with chocolate bar piece
  8. Fold wonton wrapper in half to make a triangle
  9. Press to seal
  10. Repeat with remaining wonton wrappers, preserves , and chocolate pieces....................
  11. Carefully slide 4 wontons at a time into the hot oil and fry 1 minute per side
  12. Remove and drain on paper towels
  13. Serve warm dust ed with powdered sugar over wontons and serve a dollop of fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint...................
  14. Serves 4
