Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup crisco
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Cookies: Mix ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl.
  2. Drop by teaspoonful on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Frosting: Mix the first 5 ingredients together with 5 oz margarine.
  5. Continue to add the rest of the margarine until light and fluffy.
  6. Once the cookies are cooled, frost the bottom of one cookie and place another cookie on top to make a sandwich.
