Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl sift first 6 ingredients together
  2. Add remaining igredients and stir well
  3. You may also add nuts and raisins or coconut as they are optional
  4. I add all of them to mine
  5. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans or can use coffee cans
  6. And bake at 350 degrees for 1 hours..
  7. If you coffee cans fill just a little more than half full
