Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin (libby's only - other varieties are too watery)

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Mix in nuts.
  3. Beat together remaining ingredients and combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour into two greased bread loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees from 55 to 60 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean.
