Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup walnuts

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Add mashed potatoes.
  4. Add baking powder, flour, salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
  5. Add raisins and walnuts.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1/2 hour.
