Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk

Directions:

  1. Mix and sift dry ingredients.
  2. Add milk gradually with beaten egg yolks.
  3. Add melted shortening.
  4. Cut and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  5. Grease hot waffle iron. Brown. Serve and Enjoy!
