Penny's Parsnip and Carrot Soup

Ingredients:

  • 5 large parsnips
  • 4 medium carrots
  • salt and pepper (lots of the latter!)

Directions:

  1. Slice parsnips and carrots thinly.
  2. Cook in broth until tender.
  3. Add turmeric, salt and pepper to taste and puree.
