Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl; cut in 3/4 cup margarine thoroughly until mixture resembles very fine crumbs.
  2. Press mixture firmly into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and 1/2 cup margarine in saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat stirring gently. Remove.
  4. Stir 1/2 of hot mixture into beaten eggs. Add to remaining hot mixture.
  5. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour filling over crust.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
