Peanut Butter Plunge Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (12 oz) package nestle' peanut butter morsels

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla extract; beat at medium speed until creamy (about 3 to 5 minutes).
  4. Add eggs; beat well.
  5. Turn mixer to low; gradually add flour mixture.
  6. Stir in Nestle' Peanut Butter Morsels.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes.
  9. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes.
  10. Remove and cool completely.
  11. Cookies will be pale in color with light brown edges.
