Peach Marmalade Empanadas

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup plus 2 tbsp shortening
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cola
  • peach marmalade

Directions:

  1. Sift flour and salt then cut in shortening.
  2. Slowly add cola until dough forms a ball then roll out dough and cut into 3 circles.
  3. Place teaspoonful jam on circle then fold in half and seal edges.
  4. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes then roll in granulated sugar right after you take out of the oven.
