Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 10 oz, package. frozen blueberries defrosted and drained
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp, sugar divided
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:

  1. In saucepan combined sugars and corn starch add water
  2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly untill thickened
  3. ADD LEMON JUICE TO FRUIT THEN ADD FRUIT TO THICKEND SAUCE.
  4. Pour into prepared pan and keep in oven till topping is made
  5. FOR TOPPING:
  6. SIFT 1/2 CUP SUGAR WITH FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER
  7. ADD MILK, BUTTER BEAT UNTILL SMOOTH POUR OVER FRUIT
  8. MIX 2 tbs. SUGAR AND NUTMEG TOGETHER. sPRINKLE OVER TOPPING
  9. RAISE OVEN TO 375 DEGREES BAKE UNTILL TOPPING IS LIGHT BROWN
