Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 (29 oz) can peach slices

Directions:

  1. Melt margarine in a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Sift dry ingredients.
  3. Add milk.
  4. Pour this mixture over margarine.
  5. Do not stir.
  6. Place peaches and syrup on top of this.
  7. Bake in 350 degree oven until brown.
  8. About 40 minutes.
