Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp veg. oil
  • 3/4 tsp seasoned salt (nature's seasoning)
  • onion rings
  • 1 large valdalia onion or sweet onion, cut into 1/2-inch slices and seperated into rings

Directions:

  1. Combine all batter ingredients in small mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
  2. Heat 2 to 3 inches of Veg. Oil in deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F. Dip few inion rings in batter. Let excess batter drip back into bowl. Fry a few at a time, 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining onion rings. Serve immediately or keep warm in 175^F onion.
