Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 5 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Heat water in microwave for about 20 seconds. Water should be lukewarm.
  2. Add yeast, sugar to it and mix well. leave it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile add milk, butter to a bowl and microwave it for few seconds till butter is almost melting. Take it out add honey to it and mix well.
  4. In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt and make a hole at the center.
  5. Pour all the liquid to the center and mix thoroughly.
  6. Take out this mixture and knead it on a plain surface till smooth. The dough must be slightly sticky.
  7. Transfer this dough to the bowl and cover it with a cloth. Leave it for an hour.
  8. The dough must have raised double of its size. Again knead this dough.
  9. Grease the pan with butter and little bit of flour.
  10. Make balls out of this dough, arrange them on the pan one by one slightly touching each other.
  11. Cover this pan and leave it for half an hour. Remove the cover and grease dough surface with milk.
  12. Bake it at 400 deg, in the lower rack for about 20-25 minutes.
  13. Remove from the oven and grease the surface with butter.
  14. Cool it and serve with Bhaji.
