Old Style Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix all together (if too soft add more flour).
  2. Roll out and cut cookies place on ungreased pan.
  3. Bake at 350 F 10 -15 mins.
  4. Didn't specify how many serving, so I'm going to guess :).
