Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter, crisco, sugar and brown sugar. Once mixed, add oatmeal and mix again.
  3. Spray a 9 by 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray and press the oatmeal mix into the pan.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  5. Melt chocolate chips. Add peanut butter and mix well.
  6. Spread chocolate - peanut butter mix over warm oatmeal bars.
  7. Cool. Then cut and serve.
