Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix crackers and baking powder in another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
  2. Gradually add sugar.
  3. Continue to beat.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Fold whites and crackers together.
  6. Put in a buttered 8 pan.
  7. Arrange pecans on top.
  8. Bake 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate.
  10. Put under broiler (low) then watch **VIGILANTLY** that it melts but doesn't scorch!
  11. Pull it out quickly.
  12. Cool.
  13. Serve.
